How long will my installation take?
It depends on the size of the deck. However, it should not take more than 5 hours on a typical 12'x12' deck. Normal installations estimate 50 square feet per hour per two person crew.

I am a good handyman. Is this product to much for me and a friend to install?
This product is specifically designed to be installed by individuals who have not installed it before. Some homeowners have to rely on their trusted builder or a contractor they know to perform the installation. Simply read the Installation Guidelines section under the Design heading on the home page of the website to fully understand all the details of the installation.

Can the UnderDeck System be attached to my existing deck?
Yes, UnderDeck can easily install to virtually any existing deck. Let us know about your specific project and we will assist you.

How does UnderDeck handle extreme cold, ice and snow?
UnderDeck is an exterior grade PVC material so it handles the freeze and thaw process very well. The snow that melts between your deck boards will actually drain out of the system before it can freeze. The system is designed to lock in tighter if you get a little weight in the gutters
